Hey everyone. I have a 97 lifted jeep wrangler for trade that has 14,000 invested in it. Been looking to get back into a westy since I sold my 76 reluctantly. Anyone interested pm me. I'll send pictures and all the details if interested. Thanks everyone!

Westy, SUBARU ENGINE, AUTOMATIC transmission for sale. 1984, very good interior, exterior, and mechanical condition. We've had so much fun, and I'm not crawling back out of the rabbit hole, but I'm working on a bigger camper. Get in touch or Charlotte CL for more details. Asking $19500 obo.

I have 2 "Westys", same year, same color scheme, 1 full camper and a weekender.
I am selling the weekender for $6000

or use as downpayment on a VWsynchro-camper (4x4).

I originally bought the weekender for parts for my camper, but then it kept running so well after i gave it new cylinder heads, new steering fluid pump, shocks.....

Ok. I'm always behind the ball. Nothing available at Paddy's wagon. Do they tolerate doubling up on sites? If so, anyone willing to double?

This September was my anniversary date of being a Moonie. My first camp out was Fire on the Mountain. I got drafted by Dixie and many more friendly folks that I am glad to say I still get to camp with after all these years.
I am pretty new to this group only being a member for five years. How many years do the rest of you have in this group?

I guess I'm with Dixie, 15 years, it's been a good ride, it was all Craig Allens fault, he made me do it. it was a accident, we didn't even know it was a FMBC event (2000 Everybus), which it wasn't, but some of the Moonies were at the campout, and we got hooked, that was in "Goat" my 80 vanagon, it's hard to believe I have had Goat that long, I need to take him out for a campout, got a new engine in him, and he is road worthy, just slow 55-60 max.

This is GOAT my good buddy

been about '03 i guess. my boy was still on a leash, he's 14 now. father in law called from sesqui (paddys) said 'there's a bunch of volkswagens out here', so I went to check it out in the vanagon. some weird cat, called himself 'snoopy,' was cool and let me chill with his crew.

    my ride at the time:

I guess I hooked up with my first Moonies about 10 years back, at the Stokes campout up here in jersey. I had been camping in my various buses for years prior, but finding and joining this family has been a huge benefit for me and my kids, so....THANK YOU FMBC!

Our first Moonie event was Full Moon in Joon at Deerfields in 2003. I first met Snoopy, Tom Cates, Charles Webb, and a couple of others but I don't remember their names.

A bunch of bus from the Tidewater Type 2 club went to everybus in 2005 and I woke up in my 88 vanagon in the middle of 170+ vans. Later that summer we made the trip to Grandfather Mtn for High Country too. Between 92 and 2004 we thought we were the only vw campers anywhere in Virginia.

Had too many vans to count

When was the first Natural Bus at Natural Bridge VA? That was my first. I'm guessing 2002 so 13 years. Technically joined when it was a message group and not a website. Who remembers the name of that messaging service? MSN thing or something.

Technically speaking it is possible to have gone to some campouts prior to being a "Moonie" if by moonie we mean Full Moon Bus Club because I think High Country started before the club and Everybus functioned outside of the club.
